There are 4 terms per year (in line with state school calendar).

For 2024 our terms are:

Term 3

8 July – 14 September

Term 2

Our Fees

Pre School aged Dance Start packages:

$180/term – 1 x 30 minute class/week
$210/term – 2 x 30 min classes/week
$275/term – 3 x 30 minute classes/week

Kindy, Prep, Grades 1 – 12

(30 minute KP/1 classes are paired and charged as 1 x 1 hour class)

$190/term – 1 class (duration 45 minutes)/week
$210/term – 1 class (duration 1 hour)/week
$300/term – 1 class (1.5hrs duration)/week

Multiple class and family discounts:

2 classes – 5%, 3 classes – 10%, 4 classes – 15%, 5 classes or more – 20%

Pay for 10 classes per week and unlock unlimited classes (excludes private lessons)

Registration – A registration fee of $45 or $60/family is charged on joining and then once per year.

Show Media Fee – $80.00 per family ( each family receives production photographs and videos of end of year performances)

Public Holidays – NO classes on public holidays. Fees are adjusted accordingly.
In the interest of giving as much notice as possible the following items, if applicable, will cost extra. Costumes, performance tickets, workshops and competition entry fees.

What to wear and bring

UNIFORM

Wearing a uniform creates a sense of identity and belonging within the studio. By offering a range of styles to choose between we ensure your dancer feels confident and happy in class. Having a dress code cuts down on distractions in the classroom and allows the teacher to see a dancers alignment and posture in order to make corrections

To keep this task simple we have given all of our studio’s uniform requirements to Sue’s Shop, 871 Old Cleveland Rd (Cnr Gallipoli Rd) Carina. PH 3398 5106. The staff at Sue’s Shop know exactly what is required for every class at The Dance and Theatre Factory and can expertly fit you for whatever you choose. Just mention to the staff at Sue’s Shop that your child is enrolled at The Theatre Factory and what classes they are doing.

BRING TO EVERY CLASS

Water Bottle – filtered water is available at the studio to refill water bottles

Notebook and pen/pencil – to keep track of feedback and make notes

Folder – for sheet music

Snacks – students who attend more than 3 classes will have a scheduled break and should bring dinner or snacks as appropriate.
